TMZ founder Harvey Levin was in town Saturday and made a surprise visit to the Vida Fitness on U Street for an early morning workout. We’re told that Levin arrived just as the doors opened at 7 a.m. and paid the $25 for a pass. He had forgotten his ID to sign up for the guest pass, but the door attendant recognized the famed celebrity reporter and let him slide.
“He was extremely appreciative that the Vida staff let him in sans drivers license and thanked them repeatedly (nearly a dozen times) before working out,” a source told Yeas & Nays. Levin concluded his stay by ordering a Chocolate Monkey smoothie at the gym’s juice bar, tipping $5 on the $6.50 beverage, and thanked the staff again for letting him in.
