Former ‘Apprentice’ contestant and Donald Trump friend Star Jones, will host a fundraiser for Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton Thursday.
Jones has a long history with Trump. In addition to appearing on his show, she attended two of his previous weddings. She has praised Trump as “very organized” and said she would make a great “chief of staff” for him if he were elected president.
But Jones has previously donated money to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, so her support for Clinton isn’t a total surprise.
Clinton has repeatedly criticized Trump since he proposed banning foreign Muslims from entering the United States, describing the Republican as engaging in “shameful, dangerous anti- Muslim rhetoric,” that actually weaken America’s national security
