Donald Trump thinks President Obama is more passionate about the latest Star Wars film, the first in a sequel trilogy, than he is about defeating radical Islamic terrorist groups.
The Republican presidential front-runner posted a short video to Instagram Tuesday that mashes up footage of Obama leaving a press conference to attend a screening of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” with news coverage of the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, France and San Bernardino, California.
“We are in a serious war,” reads on-screen text.
“Our president is busy with another war …” the video continues, referring to Star Wars’ galactic battles.
Trump’s latest video criticizing Obama is one of several he’s posted this election cycle. The billionaire’s 15-second Instagram videos often supplement his incessant attacks against Democratic political figures and other GOP presidential hopefuls.
The video posted Tuesday was captioned, “We need a real president!” Within 40 minutes of posting, it had garnered 4,500 likes and nearly 1,000 comments.
Trump is second in the newest Washington Examiner presidential power rankings.
