Former “D.C. Housewife” and alleged White House gatecrasher Michaele Salahi is threatening to follow in the footsteps of several other “Real Housewives.” She claims to be releasing her first single. Over the weekend, Salahi sent out a Facebook invitation announcing that she was in Los Angeles recording her new song, “Bump It.” TMZ backed up the claim by posting some footage of the blonde behind the microphone.
As bad as it sounds, Salahi’s song won’t necessarily be the worst. Over the past few years fellow “Housewives” have laid down some pretty pitiful tracks.
In 2009, Atlanta star Kim Zolciak released her song “Tardy for the Party.” Countess LuAnn de Lesseps dabbled in pop last year with her release of “Money Can’t Buy You Class,” and who can forget New Jersey “Housewife” Daniel Staub‘s song “Real Close,” a duet with Lori Michaels. One hubby has also gotten in on the fun.
Simon van Kempen, who is married to New York’s Alex McCord, released a dance track last month entitled, “I am Real.”
