Trump is back on top

A new national poll shows Donald Trump has regained his GOP front-runner position, knocking Ben Carson down eight points into second place.

Trump won 28 percent of support from GOP and Independent voters who lean Republican. Carson entered a new tie with Ted Cruz at 18 percent, according to November polling by NBC News/Survey Monkey.

Marco Rubio was in third place at 11 percent, followed by Jeb Bush at 4 percent, and Chris Christie and Carly Fiorina tied at 3 percent.
