Melania Trump: Donald and I have never had a fight

Donald Trump’s wife Melania shared intimate details about her marriage with the GOP front-runner. The model-turned-businesswoman told Fox News in a pre-taped interview that aired late Wednesday the two have never had an argument.

“We don’t have fights,” Mrs. Trump told a stunned Greta Van Susteren.

The primetime news host followed up, asking Melania how the couple, who have been together for more than a decade, avoids heated disagreements.

“We disagree but that’s OK. That’s very good in the relationship,” Mrs. Trump said. “I tell him my way and he accepts that and I tell him, you know, what I think and he is the same. He thinks what he thinks.”

Melania said she has given Donald advice on his campaign and the presidential race as a whole.

“We talk a lot. I see everything what’s going on in his campaign, other campaigns and I follow from A to Z everything. So I always tell him what I think: what is good, what is not good. I give him my opinions. I’m not a ‘yes person’. I’m yes or no but I’m not easily a yes person,” Mrs. Trump explained. “If I don’t agree with something, I will tell him. I would not say, ‘Oh, maybe he should not hear it.’ I’m telling him.”

The GOP front-runner’s wife admitted she has told her husband he should ease up on his language when speaking at rallies and also recommended he go softer on Jeb Bush when he was in the race, both pieces of advice which Trump has taken to heart.
