Fiorina: I’d have left my husband if he acted like Bill Clinton

Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina said Thursday that she would have ended her marriage if her husband had committed adultery like President Bill Clinton did.

“Listen, if my husband did what Bill Clinton did, I would have left him long ago,” Fiorina said during a presidential debate hosted by Fox.

Fiorina made the comment in response to a question from moderator Martha McCallum about the candidate’s comment in the previous GOP debate that she liked spending time with her husband unlike the “other female candidate” in this race. McCallum asked why she was engaging in personal attack against Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton. Fiorina denied that that was what she was doing.

“It wasn’t a personal attack. It was me pointing out the fact that Hillary Clinton will do anything to gain and hold on to power. Anything,” Fiorina said.
