Big name musical acts trickled into town for Monday night’s star-studded gala at the Kennedy Center honoring former president George H.W. Bush.
A casual Cee Lo Green was spotted arriving at Dulles International Airport Sunday night wearing a black Adidas track suit. He was spotted out in Georgetown Monday wearing a similar ensemble.
Country songstress Reba McEntire was seen walking around the lobby at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel while Sheryl Crow was out shopping in Georgetown. Crow ducked into both Dean & Deluca and Intermix on M Street around noon.
Green, McEntire and Crow will be joined by Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Kid Rock, ex-presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter and more than 30 members of the Bush family to toast Bush Sr. at a bipartisan event sponsored by the Points of Light Institute. The evening is being produced by the father-son team of George Stevens Jr. and Michael Stevens. The gala will be televised March 28 on NBC.
