Sen. Marco Rubio is declaring he has the momentum in the last few weeks before the Iowa caucuses, and will air two new ads in Iowa and New Hampshire that show residents of the two early nominating states talking about why they support him.
“It’s time we got someone in the White House who represents me, someone like Marco Rubio,” both ads begin. “Go Marco. He’s been here and listened.”
The ads, titled “Marcomentum,” then show people with regional accents talking up Rubio while looking directly into the camera.
Rubio, who ranks third in the Washington Examiner‘s newest GOP presidential power rankings, will return to Iowa on Saturday. The senator appeared on two evening variety shows on Thursday, including Fox News’ “The Kelly File” and NBC’s “The Tonight Show.”
