Matt Drudge, the conservative editor and founder of the influential Drudge Report, wants to see a political matchup in 2020 between President Trump and media mogul Oprah Winfrey.
“Trump vs Oprah would be the most epic race in American history,” Drudge said Wednesday on Twitter. “MAKE THIS HAPPEN…”
In an interview with Bloomberg that airs Wednesday, Winfrey shared her thoughts seeing Trump win the White House with no experience in politics.
Asked if she ever thought about running for president, Winfrey said, “I thought, oh, gee, I don’t have the experience, I don’t know enough, I don’t know. And now I’m thinking, ‘Oh!'”
Trump in the past had said he would like Winfrey to be his running mate.
In 2008, Winfrey campaigned for then-Democratic nominee Barack Obama.
