The U.S. Capitol Police is cracking down on selfie sticks, but only for a limited time, during Pope Francis’ visit and address to Congress next week.
The Capitol Police sent out an email Monday saying all bags and closed containers would be searched for anyone trying to get into the Capitol complex on Sept. 24, when he speaks. But selfie sticks are just one of the things police will be looking for, along with many other things that one would think most people would leave at home:
