Scott Walker sought to position himself as a Washington outsider in his response on Twitter to Hillary Clinton’s rollout.
“Hillary Clinton has the same Washington-knows-best mentality people around the country are looking to move beyond,” the Wisconsin governor and GOP hopeful said on Twitter Sunday afternoon.
Walker also sought to criticize Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state.
“Clinton was the architect of the failed foreign policy executed by President Obama today,” he tweeted.
The tweets hinted at potential lines of attack that presidential hopefuls could use against the former first lady.
As Secretary of State @HillaryClinton was the architect of the failed foreign policy we’re seeing executed by President Obama today. -SKW
