President Obama is attending the Alfalfa Club luncheon Saturday afternoon, a gathering of powerful politicians and members of the business elite.
The organization has about 200 members, including former president George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Supreme Court Supreme Justice John Roberts and billionaire Warren Buffett.
According to a pool report, Obama was spotted Saturday afternoon with adviser Valerie Jarrett, who is also a member of the club.
A White House official said the luncheon is taking place at the home of lawyer Vernon Jordan, who is an adviser to former President Bill Clinton.
The residence boasts nine bedrooms and 12-full bathrooms, with private parking for 13 cars that went for $12.2 million last year, a member of the president’s press pool reported, citing Zillow, an online real estate database company.
The 103-year-old Alfalfa Club, named after the plant, holds a dinner event for its members on the last Saturday of every January.
