A new video released by the super PAC dedicated to Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul’s 2016 presidential bid sets the scene for Sunday, when senators return to Capitol Hill to debate what to do with expiring provisions of the Patriot Act.
Paul has made ending those Patriot Act provisions, specifically one that allows for the NSA’s bulk collection of Americans’ phone records, one of his loudest talking points. He and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell remain ad odds over extending the provisions.
