More major players in the hip hop world are eyeing a White House run in 2020.
Joining Kanye West — who declared his intention to run for president at the MTV Video Music Awards in August — is rapper Wale, who wants to be on a presidential ticket with Jim Harbaugh, head football coach at the University of Michigan.
The 2020 talk was reignited on Jan. 1 when Harbaugh’s Wolverines trounced the University of Florida 41-7 in the Citrus Bowl (probably to the chagrin of Sen. Marco Rubio, a noted Gators fan).
Wale tweeted out his admiration toward Harbaugh, joking that Harbaugh should run for president in 2020 because “he just wins things.”
On Sunday, Harbaugh responded to Wale, saying he would only run for president with the D.C. rapper as his running mate.
OK partner, we’re doing this as long as you are my VP! Harbaugh/Wale 2020! You with me? https://t.co/ZVqjExAq3I

Wale responded with an emphatic “absolutely.”
Look out for Harbaugh/Wale 2020. West has yet to indicate who he would choose as his running mate if he does end up running for president in four years.
