You’ll have to trust us: This sounds better than sampling your aunt’s latest kitchen creation.
Starting Dec. 7, Central Michel Richard chef de cuisine Arthur Cavilere will give away free samples of a new dish each day at 9:30 p.m. to get reaction and comments from guests. Diners will be asked to rate the dish in four different categories — flavor, presentation, marketability and value. The points will be tallied at the end of the night, and when the test period ends (two weeks later on Dec. 21), a new menu will be conceived.
At the end of the test period, Central will put the comment cards into a jar for a drawing. The prize? Dinner for two at Central.
