Attempting to inject some pop culture in to the political scene, Rep. Christopher Murphy, D-Conn., tweeted a link to Justin Bieber’s now infamous Rolling Stone interview on Thursday. Including the text “Bieber on health care” and ending with the hashtag “#mycaseofbieberfever,” Murphy initially agreed with the tween dream’s “evil” opinion of the U.S. healthcare system. But then he read more. Less that sixty minutes after the first tweet, Murphy recanted tweeting “Oh wait … just heard what Biebs said about abortion. Ugh.” Guess they won’t be touring together anytime soon …
