Trump: Clinton’s sins 20 times worse than Petraeus’

Donald Trump went after Democrats’ unwavering support of Hillary Clinton in an interview Wednesday night, saying the charges the FBI may be bringing against her are significantly worse than the reason Gen. David Petraeus was fired.

“When you look at what she has done compared to General Petraeus, it’s 20 times greater. It’s not even a contest,” Trump told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren.

Trump called the consequences that the Army general faced for sharing classified information with his biographer were “brutal,” but said Clinton has “gone through nothing” for the scandals surrounding her email server.

The difference is that the Democratic party chose to save Clinton because she was the most viable candidate for the 2016 presidential race, according to Trump, who is currently ranked second in the Washington Examiner’s presidential power rankings.

“You look at General Petraeus and I think they should leave him alone, he has had enough. Now they want to demote him and take away some of his rank … They ought to fight ISIS, not General Petraeus,” concluded Trump.
