N.J. State Sen. Joe Kyrillos is saying what all of us have been thinking — why did Rutgers University pay “Jersey Shore” star Snooki $32,000 for an on-campus appearance? The AP is reporting that Kyrillos said he felt it was unfair to students to have their mandatory activity fees go towards paying someone who might be considered objectionable. The lawmaker says he plans on sponsoring legislation that will allow students to opt in or out of campus activities that require money.
