Ever wonder what Girl Scout cookies your congressional leaders like best? Well, it turns out that Texas Republican Rep. Kay Granger‘s favorite is Thin Mints. And as co-leader of Troop Capitol Hill — an honorary congressional troop also led by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., and Sens. Barbara Mikulski, D-Md., and Susan Collins, R-Maine, — she told the Hill that the annual cookie sale is about more than just sharing sweetness. “[It] helps young women to achieve financial goals and fosters confidence in the work they do,” she said. “Scouting gives young women the opportunity to reach their full potential and be leaders in their communities.”
