Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is in for 2016.
The Republican tweeted Wednesday afternoon that he will be seeking the 2016 GOP presidential nomination. He also sent out a link to a new campaign website, which contains videos of Jindal and his wife, Supriya, telling their family about the decision.

Jindal is expected to formally announce his decision to run Wednesday afternoon from New Orleans.
Jindal, who was elected governor of Louisiana in 2007, is considered a long-shot for winning the nomination from the crowded GOP field. With less than 1 percent, he is currently polling last in a RealClearPolitics average of polls.
