Hillary Clinton brings the pantsuit to the masses

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is giving her supporters a chance to dress just like she does, without having to shell out the big bucks for a real pantsuit.

Clinton on Monday announced a few new items at her campaign store, including an “everyday pantsuit tee,” which is a red t-shirt printed to look like one of Clinton’s famous pantsuits. They cost $30 each.

Clinton has bought into the jokes about her wardrobe, which seems filled with pantsuits. Clinton’s official Twitter account describes her as a “pantsuit aficionado.”

The campaign store says the pantsuit tee will let people bring a “whole new meaning to casual Friday,” and notes that pantsuit bottoms are not included.

Other new arrivals to the store include a $55 throw pillow that says, “A woman’s place is in the White House.” The store is also selling a tank top for $30, a pint glass for $25, and a hoodie for $65.

The store stresses that each of the new items are either “union made” or “union printed” and made in America.

On Memorial Day, Clinton’s campaign offered a 10 percent discount to people who donated right away, which also got people a sneak peek at the new merchandise.
