Carson: Clinton ‘making the world a more dangerous place’

Ben Carson hit Hillary Clinton, saying that although she has a long foreign policy resume, “experience does not equal judgment” and that the Democratic front-runner is not fit to lead.

“You can easily argue that Hillary Clinton has more foreign policy ‘experience’ than every Republican running for president — and you can bet the media will remind us every day,” Carson wrote in a fundraising email. “But experience does not equal judgment.”

He added, “As [President Obama’s] secretary of state, Hillary Clinton was the tip of the spear. She was in charge of implementing President Obama’s empty rhetoric policies. And they’ve failed miserably.”

Carson, a retired pediatric neurosurgeon, has virtually no foreign policy experience and some of his closest advisers have said he has had trouble grasping basic foreign policy concepts.

Yet Carson claimed that if elected, he would ” speak the truth” about Islam and with our Middle Eastern allies to help the Syrian refugees resettle in the Middle East. Additionally, he promised to keep Guantanamo open and work to “eliminate ISIS quickly and decisively because they cannot be contained.”

Carson went on to criticize Clinton’s handling of Benghazi, claiming that both she and Obama lied about the attacks and, in the time since, they “have downplayed the threat” that Islam poses to Western civilization.

Clinton’s experience, Carson wrote, “is in walking away from America’s responsibilities and making the world a more dangerous place.”
