President Bush may have only a few weeks left in office, but some are still eager to let him know what they think of him.
President Bush’s motorcade was heading to the Secret Service facility in Beltsville, Md., on Sunday morning for his weekly mountain bike ride. When the convoy reached the Jefferson Memorial, it held up traffic for a few moments, much to the consternation of the driver of the first car in line to proceed.
“The driver began yelling, rolled down his window and yelled some more,” according to the White House pool report. “Then when a White House staffer in one of the media vans waved at the man he responded by sticking his right hand out of the window and thrusting the middle finger in our direction.”
