Spotted moving stealthily through the throngs in Georgetown on Saturday: Mandy Patinkin, star of TV series “Homeland” and cult classic “The Princess Bride.” Patinkin was overheard murmuring, “Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” Ok, not really. But we are hoping Patinkin’s presence in D.C. means that “Homeland” might actually shoot a few scenes in the city it’s supposed to be set in, rather than fake-D.C. Charlotte, N.C.
