Trump to supporters: Don’t watch Megyn Kelly

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Monday took his ongoing fight with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly to the next level by telling his supporters not to watch her anymore.

On Sunday, Trump suggested on social media that he wasn’t happy with the guests Kelly recently booked to discuss his campaign, and said his supporters should respond by not watching anymore.

“Best thing my supporters can do if you don’t like the way Megyn Kelly and her puppets unfairly treat ‘us’ is don’t watch her show!” Trump said on Twitter to his 4.6 million followers.

Trump’s tweet followed up on similar ones he put out last week, wherein he criticized Kelly’s program and two of its frequent guests, Washington Post columnist Marc Thiessen and Fox News politics reporter Chris Stirewalt.

“Megyn Kelly has two really dumb puppets, Chris Stirewalt and Marc Threaten (a Bushy) who do exactly what she says,” Trump said in one tweet. “All polls say I won debates.”

Since the GOP debate hosted by Fox in August, Trump has had an on-again, off-again feud with the network, even threatening to boycott its programming and decline making any appearances on its shows.

The feud has died down but Trump has stayed on the offensive with Kelly, who has mostly declined to talk about Trump’s attacks on her.
