Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal stumped this week for Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal, another sign he’s strongly considering a run for the White House.
On behalf of the Republican Governors Association, which has already invested $1.6 million in the race, Jindal joined Deal at a re-election event in Atlanta this week, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“We’re very committed to helping Nathan win his re-election fight,” said Jindal, the RGA’s former leader and now vice chair. “We know he’s a proven leader and it’s a priority to help our governors win re-election.”
RealClearPolitics has the Georgia governor’s race between Deal and Democrat Jason Carter in a dead heat.
