Tom Cruise has been cast to play a cheating politician in a new movie written by Dan Fogelman, Deadline reported. The film chronicles a politician “who gets caught in an affair. With his reputation in tatters, the pol retreats to his hometown to lick his wounds, repair relationships and confront his past.” Warner Brothers will produce the movie. No word on when production will begin.
