Battle of the bad hair: Blago accepts spot on Trump’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice’

After a failed attempt at reality stardom with NBC’s “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here,” former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is back on the reality television circuit.

This time he (and his hair) will appear as a contestant among a group of D-list celebrities on Donald Trump’s “The Celebrity Apprentice.”

But don’t think just because Blago failed the first time because of a court order that restricted him from leaving the country — and therefore filming in Costa Rica — he was desperate for reality appearances: There is no shortage in offers.

“He continues to receive offers and opportunities — most of which he turns down because they are not the right fit,” Blago spokesman Glenn Selig said in a release Monday.

More than a month ago, his reps told Yeas & Nays he was scheduled to shoot a different television project in New York City on the day he pulled a rain check on a book signing at the National Press Club. The details of that project have yet to be revealed.

Season 3 of “The Celebrity Apprentice” will premiere March 14.
