Donald Trump sealed his Florida victory night with a final Twitter burn to Marco Rubio.
Trump tweeted a clip of Rubio declaring last week: “I believe with all my heart that the winner of the Florida primary next Tuesday will be the nominee of the Republican Party.” The video then cut to a screen showing Trump as the winner, followed by the words, “Thanks Marco We Agree!”
Trump hit Rubio hard as the Florida senator’s campaign took its final dive, branding him in recent weeks as “Little Marco,” among other insults.
Rubio dropped out earlier Tuesday night after Trump crushed him in Florida, 46 percent to 27 percent.
