Donald Trump said Wednesday night that not only would he make life miserable for terrorists as president, he’d show no mercy to their families.
In a live interview before 15,000 attendees at an Arizona rally, Trump told Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly he would not hesitate to retaliate against people who have allowed family members to attack innocent Americans.
“I’m not going to assassinate them … I would do pretty severe stuff as far as I’m concerned,” Trump said, with the crowd cheering at the response.
The GOP front-runner also addressed last night’s jabs from former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.
“Bush is a person who has just not been able to carry it forward. If he has a rally, he has what, 20 people show up for his rallies, so it’s not working,” said Trump, ranked second in the Washington Examiner’s presidential power rankings.
The self-funded Republican said he does not blame Bush for going after him in front of millions of viewers in Tuesday’s fifth GOP debate, adding that he is only doing what his advisers have recommended.
