‘Top Chef’ losing restaurant

Times are tough for Timothy Dean.

After losing “Top Chef D.C.” and suing National Harbor, the Baltimore-based chef and Howard University grad is now losing his restaurant. The building that houses Baltimore’s Prime Steakhouse will be auctioned off Sept. 16, according to the Associated Press. Dean controls the property.

Before this, Dean has closed three restaurants and had the National Harbor pull the plug (hence the lawsuit) on a project there. Dean was the sixth chef to be ousted from “Top Chef D.C.” The remaining “cheftestants” will cook for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on this week’s episode.
