TAMPA, Fla. – In what could very well be a developing broadcast bromance, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and Fox News Channel’s Bret Baier shared a flight to Tampa, sitting next to each other on the way down from D.C. on Saturday.
“We had a nice time, he’s a nice guy, we talked journalism, politics; he did his iPad thing, I read my newspapers,” Blitzer told Yeas & Nays via email.
“The most important thing is that the flight was on schedule. We had a FOX-CNN bonding experience,” Blitzer continued. Definitely important as the CNN host had to broadcast “The Situation Room” live from Tampa Saturday night.
And in other news dude news, NBC’s Chuck Todd was tweeting Saturday about having to take a 12-seat prop plane between Pensacola and Tampa, over the Gulf of Mexico.
“There are somehow 3 exits on this plane? That’s comforting. #propwatch2012,” he tweeted before embarking on his journey. “For a prop plane, it was a smooth flight. No air pockets. Loud though,” he wrote later.
