Valerie Jarrett’s daughter to cover Trump’s DOJ for CNN

CNN announced that one of its correspondents, who happens to be Valerie Jarrett’s daughter, will be tasked with covering the Trump administration’s Justice Department.

In a press release Wednesday, CNN said that Laura Jarrett will help cover the Justice Department, which is expected to be headed by Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., once his appointment as attorney general is confirmed by the Senate.

The New York Post noticed Laura’s relation to Valerie in a Thursday report.

Valerie Jarrett is considered President Obama’s closest White House adviser and is a longtime friend of the Obama family.

The Post reported that Laura, a lawyer and Harvard graduate, joined CNN in September.
