Marco Rubio’s campaign released an ad Thursday featuring South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, which comes only a day after she gave him her endorsement in the GOP race.
In the ad titled “Future,” Haley echoes what she said in her introduction of Rubio Wednesday night in Chapin, saying he’ll bring a “conscience” to the GOP in Washington and for the GOP to look to the future.
“America can’t afford four more years like the last eight. That’s why I am endorsing Marco Rubio for president. As the wife of combat veteran, I know Marco will keep America safe,” Haley said. “And as your governor, I trust Marco to bring a conscience to the Republicans in Washington and reign in our out-of-control federal government.
“I’m Nikki Haley. I am endorsing Marco Rubio because this election is about the future and the future is now,” Haley said to close out the ad.
The ad’s release comes two days after the Rubio campaign released a similar ad featuring Rep. Trey Gowdy, who spoke highly of Rubio’s foreign policy acumen.
The ad is set to start running in the Palmetto State on Thursday with only two days left until primary day.
