Things are looking up for Vice President Biden.
Last week, the Veep revealed in a fundraising letter that he doesn’t get to have dinner with President Obama on a regular basis, only the occasional lunch. “The President and I have a routine — we get lunch together almost every Friday,” Biden shared. “But all I get is lunch.” He was trying to get supporters jazzed up about donating at least $5 to the campaign to enter the ongoing “Dinner with Barack” contest.
Well, on Monday the campaign announced some “big news.” Biden would be joining the dinner party. “We’re setting another place at the table for Joe Biden, he wants to join us,” Obama said in a video message posted on his campaign website. “To use one of his favorite expressions, that’s a big deal.”
