A warning to those who plan to use Metrorail on Sunday: You may bear witness to thousands of, well, bare legs as the annual No Pants Metro Ride is scheduled for 3 p.m.
Thousands of participants (more than 2,000 have RSVPed) will gather near the L’Enfant Plaza Metro station, strip off their pants and take the train.
The Facebook invitation tells participants: “Act completely casual or unknowing that your pants are missing.”
It also implores that while the pants are off, undergarments stay on. Thank goodness for small favors, eh?
