New study shows who’s tech-savvy, who’s not

While we’ve all gotten used to watching our politicians on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, some are on more sites than others, and new findings from Stateline.org are showing us which of our sitting governors are using social networking sites the most. Looking at the Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube usage of our 50 sitting state governors, 21 are utilizing all four sites, 49 use at least one of either Twitter or Facebook, and 45 use both. Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell is on all four sites, while his Maryland counterpart, Gov. Martin O’Malley, uses everything by Flickr. The least tech-savvy governor, according to the study, is Republican Gov. Matt Mead of Wyoming, who only uses YouTube.
