Brosnan drops in on WH, Douglas hangs in G’Town

Pierce Brosnan is quite the environmental man about town. After testifying on climate change at an Environmental Protection Agency hearing Monday, he popped into the White House on Tuesday to talk about saving the whales. Which, not coincidentally, was the topic du jour at a Capitol Hill reception Tuesday night.

Also spotted:

Michael Douglas, lunching at Leopold’s in Georgetown on Tuesday, in advance of an event he hosts for the Ploughshares Fund at the Italian Embassy tonight.

Garry Tallent, the bass player for the E Street Band, touring the Newseum on Tuesday.
