Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy is celebrating New Year’s Eve by tweeting out a list of every mass shooting in 2015.
In a Storify post, Murphy, a stanch proponent of gun control, said 372 mass shootings occurred in the past year, which he found on shootingtracker.com.
“In the face of this carnage, there is no excuse for our inaction,” he said in the post.
Murphy represents Connecticut, a state that was rocked in December 2012 by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that left 20 children and six adults dead.
