Those on Team Conan will be disappointed to find out that not only is Jay Leno getting “The Tonight Show” back, but he’s also been tapped to headline this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.
Leno is the biggest name to be picked in recent years –Wanda Sykes performed last year, and who can forget Stephen Colbert’s skewering of President George W. Bush in 2006?
Arguably the year’s hottest event, the “nerd prom,” is usually attended by the president, along with all of the journalists in Washington who can get their paws on a ticket, and a good chunk of Hollywood.
