Trump mocks Jay Z for using N word at Clinton rally

Donald Trump hit Jay Z for the lewd language the rapper used at a concert for Hillary Clinton Friday night.

“Ya know, I actually like Jay Z, but that language last night. Can you imagine if I said that? He used every word in the book. I won’t even use the initials ‘cos they’ll get me in trouble,” the Republican presidential candidate said at a rally in Tampa, Fla., Saturday morning.

At a concert in Cleveland Friday in support of the Democratic candidate, the hip-hop artist performed his song “Dirt Off Your Shoulder,” which featured the lyrics “If you feelin’ like a pimp n——, go and brush your shoulders off,” as well as a song titled “Jigga My N——.”

Trump has been criticized for the rhetoric he has used on the campaign trail, as well as his vulgar language toward women in an unearthed “Acess Hollywood” tape, in which he described grabbing women “by the pussy.”

Trump used the incident to claim that double standard was being used against him, mocking Clinton for supporting the language used by the rapper and his wife Beyonce — whose song “Formation” has incited controversy — while hitting him for using “lewd language.”

“Tell you what, I’ve never said what he said in my life,” Trump said. “But that shows you the phoniness of politicians and the phoniness of the whole system.”

Trump added, “We don’t need Jay Z to fill up an arena, we do it the old fashioned way.”
