Lock up the teenage girls: Joe Jonas was in town, and he wasn’t just hiding behind closed doors.
Jonas was spotted out running Tuesday along the National Mall during the early morning to promote his cause, the Special Olympics.
“I was in a Fun Run in San Antonio and about 600 people showed up. It was a great turnout,” Jonas said at a photo op with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. “We did a mini one today just to get everyone excited.”
Pelosi, who met with Joe’s brother Nick during the summer when he testified for diabetes research, said with a laugh that she had yet to meet the third brother and gave Kevin a shout-out. But does she actually follow the teen musical sensations?
“When I’m with my grandchildren,” Pelosi said.
