RuPaul proves he’s not Ron Paul

So glad we got this cleared up. On Saturday, drag queen RuPaul showed up at the Red Arrow Diner in New Hampshire to make sure voters realized that he was not GOP candidate Ron Paul. (In 2008, that was apparently a thing, after someone altered a Paul campaign sign photo to read “RuPaul for President 2008”). In advance of the visit, the drag queen shared some of his political views with reporters. “I have one message for Ron Paul… and to all the Republican candidates… ‘If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you going to love somebody else. Can I get an AMEN?'” he wrote in a statement. The star of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” also left us with this nugget: “Let us not forget that this great nation was founded by a bunch of men wearing wigs.” Season 4 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” premieres Monday, Jan. 30 on Logo.
