Fox News host Megyn Kelly has some experience moderating a debate with Donald Trump, and in her estimation, Hugh Hewitt seemed to fawn over the billionaire businessman during Wednesday night’s debate.
During a post-debate episode of “The Kelly File,” Kelly remarked about the “weirdness” of an exchange Trump had with Hewitt, observing, “It was like batting of the eyes on Hewitt’s part.”
Kelly suggested that it was among one of the “cringeworthy” moments during Wednesday’s GOP debate. Kelly along with Fox News hosts Chris Wallace and Bret Baier served as moderators for the first GOP debate earlier in August.
