Kermit the Frog and his human friend, actor Jason Segel, are headed to the White House Tuesday for a special screening for military families of the new film “The Muppets,” according to the Associated Press. As part of his D.C. tour, Segel also tweeted Monday that he would be attending “The Muppets” midnight screening in Georgetown and giving some introductory remarks to the film. We’re told filmmakers James Bobin, Nick Stoller and Todd Lieberman will also be on hand. Tickets for the screening have already sold out.
