Jazz musician Marcus Johnson is pouring his talents into a new venture, extending his lifestyle branding company FLO (For the Love Of) Brands by creating a new wine line called FLO Wines.
Johnson, who after months of work recently received venture capital funding for FLO wines, tells Yeas & Nays he will be in production with California-based Delicato Family Vineyards.
“Initially, we will be running two blends: California Red and a California Chardonnay. The actual blending of those two has long been determined but has yet to be announced. We are very excited, as we know that my fans and wine fans in general, will really appreciate the hard work that has gone into the formulation of these blends,” he says.
Johnson — who will be performing January 21 at The Hamilton — hopes to have FLO wines in stores and available for purchase as early as the end of March.
