You won’t be seeing Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum on Fox News again any time soon.
The network announced Wednesday that both contributors would serve a 60-day suspension, at the end of which their contracts would be terminated unless they withdrew their names from the 2012 presidential nomination mix. Fox News’ Bret Baier made the announcement.
An interesting note is that other contributors Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee, both of whom have been also been in consideration for the nomination, were not suspended. Gingrich and Santorum have both created presidential exploratory committees.
