Cheney: ‘hard to believe’ Hillary’s server wasn’t compromised

Add Dick Cheney to the list of those who believe foreign actors compromised Hillary Clinton’s email server.

During an interview Monday, Cheney told radio host Hugh Hewitt that it is “hard to believe” that foreign intelligence services did not “intercept” emails on Hillary Clinton’s private server.

“I look at what has happened here now, and my guess is that given everything else they’ve been able to, that it would be hard to believe they did not somehow intercept some of those communications,” Cheney said, adding that his personnel records have been hacked by similar agents in the past.

In addition, Cheney told CNN earlier Monday that her handling of the emails was “sloppy and unprofessional, while asking further, “how can they not have her emails?”

The former vice president, along with his daughter, Liz Cheney, made the appearance ahead of the Tuesday release of their new book Exceptional: Why The World Needs A Powerful America

“I think it was highly likely that it was,” Liz Cheney told Hewitt regarding foreign actors compromising the server. “It is baffling to me that she would have either decided on her own or gotten advice from somebody that as secretary of state, she could conduct all of her business on her own server.”
