Megyn Kelly to Charlie Rose: Trump ‘absolutely’ welcome on show

Despite months of offensive comments made to her by Donald Trump over past months, Fox News host Megyn Kelly said the Republican front-runner is “absolutely” welcome on her show, “The Kelly File.”

In a new interview with Charlie Rose to air in full on “CBS News Sunday Morning,” Kelly cited one question about women in the first GOP debate that lead to the feud.

“Why did he start? Does it all go back to a question in August of 2015?” Rose asked.

“Yes it did. Clearly. Because Trump and I really didn’t have a relationship at all prior to that,” she responded. She added, “I think it’s very clear to him that he cannot control the editorial on my show, or from me, in a debate or other setting …”

She declined further to speculate on why Trump is after her.

Rose then asked Kelly that if “on Monday, Donald Trump says I want to come on your show. Would you say you’re welcome?”

“Absolutely,” she answered in the short clip.

The rest of the interview airs Sunday morning.
